Voorbereiding

Preparation does not need to be stressful.  Some like to read and plan everything upfront.  Others, just want to build up experience. I'm an in between guy: Like to be prepared for flexibility and the unknown, without fixed itinerary.

The purpose is to be able to "relax".

Even if you read everything and prepared for the worst, start traveling in your own country.  Even obvious things like a "public holiday" in the desitination country, all stores closed, can be annoying while traveling.

Take it one step at a time.  Start camping on your own property, then in your country.  Then travel to a country of whitch you speak the language (or many speak yours).  And so on.

To help you be prepared for country specifics, I shared my findings in the Traveling section.

Remember, you are not alone.  Don't hesitate to ask other campers for help.

Know your boundaries, shift them, but don't force them.
