The urge to explore

I like to be at home.

Safe, warm, all comfort, and always something to do.

Yet, there is more to life then emptying dishwashers, cleaning up the kid's mess, ... over and over again.

How do you get away from all of that: a break ?

What is the perfect break ?

I knew what that meant to me: exploring.

My wife likes the sun. Little children want water, sand and other children. Older children want wifi.

Trying is knowing.

These days with older children three types of vacation keep standing:

4x4 with daughter, son and friends

After buying our first CamperVan, I started preparing. And couldn't keep myself from sharing.

Visit WW I remnants and follow the trail of the WW II allied forces from Omaha beach, along many important places, all the way to where the trains stopped. Fully prepared from Omaha beach till the Ardennes in Belgium. Work in progress to follow the trail till Auschwitz-Birkenau.
